Rigging

The rigging is a step where you have to 'learn the ropes'. The standing rigging holds the masts in position with stays fore and aft and shrouds to the sides . The running rigging controls the sails and you need a belaying plan to show what gets tied where. The Sherbourne kit has simplified the rigging.
